Cotton at its best.

We believe the future of cotton is driven by purpose and progress. At Kamal Yarn, we spin more than yarn — we spin innovation, responsibility, and care into every strand.

As a family-owned company, we care deeply — for our people, your products, and our planet. That commitment to sustainability and technology makes us a trusted partner for premium producers, brands and retailers worldwide.

We’re pushing the boundaries of responsible production — developing smarter materials, adopting cutting-edge technology, and collaborating closely with those who share our vision.

Innovation moves us forward. Sustainability keeps us true.

By optimizing water, energy, and steam use, and by investing in in-house cotton recycling and energy-efficient manufacturing, we’re shaping a cleaner, smarter, more sustainable future for cotton.

  • Improves working conditions: by ensuring factories and farms provide respectful and safe environments for workers.

  • Upholds workers' rights, including the right to freedom of association, fair wages, and decent working hours.

  • Prohibits unethical practices, such as child labor, forced labor, and discrimination.

  • Promotes environmental protection: and ethical business behavior within supply chains.

  • Provides a common platform: for companies to monitor and improve their social performance across their supply chains.

Kamal Yarn works with the Higg index

The Higg Index is a standardized, self-assessment tool for the apparel, footwear, and home textiles industries to measure and evaluate their environmental and social sustainability performance. Developed by Cascale, it consists of several modules that provide frameworks for brands, retailers, and manufacturers to assess their operations, supply chains, and products, enabling them to benchmark performance, identify areas for improvement, and make more sustainable choices.

  • Description

    • Measures Environmental Impact:

Tools like the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) and Higg Materials Sustainability Index (MSI) help facilities and designers track environmental factors such as water use, energy consumption, and carbon footprint.

    • Assesses Social & Labor Conditions:

The Higg Facility Social & Labor Module (FSLM) allows facilities to evaluate and improve worker conditions, ensuring fair and safe environments.

    • Evaluates Brand & Retail Performance:

The Higg Brand & Retail Module (BRM)helps brands and retailers measure the social and environmental performance of their design, sourcing, and operations.

    • Analyzes Product Footprint:

The Higg Product Module (PM) provides a comprehensive, cradle-to-grave assessment of a product's total environmental impact, from material sourcing to disposal.

    • Facilitates Benchmarking:

By entering data into the Higg Index, companies receive scores that allow them to compare their performance anonymously against others in the industry, providing a pathway for continuous improvement. on text goes here
